Description

My roommates and I always say how we wish we had a sink in our dorm room. It is always a pain to have to walk back and forth to the bathroom to either brush our teeth or spill something out. With this new product, this small contraption is space efficient and easy to use. Since dorm rooms are not conducive to rearranging, this portable sink does not need to be connected to any water source in order to work. It's that easy.
The way this works is there is a top bowl which resembles a typical sink. The bottom part is what allows this contraption to work. There are three parts of the bottom; one that is the recycled water, one that is clean water and one for any other beverages. Between the two parts for water, there is a filter that dilutes the waste into clean fresh drinking water. The rest of the liquids that are not water are brought into a waste bin that needs to be disposed of occasionally. The way the water is brought up is through a level that is turned on when the knobs are moved. The sink comes on wheels so it is easy to maneuver as well as transport.
The sink comes in various sizes as well as materials. If it is intended for a college dorm room, than the consumer would want to purchase this item in plastic, whereas if it were intended for another purpose it may be purchased in metal. The plastic sink ranges at about $100, and the metal one goes for about $225.
